David Dombrosky brings over eighteen years of experience in arts management and technology to his role as Chief Marketing Officer for InstantEncore – http://www.instantencore.com – the leading provider of mobile solutions to performing arts organizations around the world. He frequently writes and presents on the uses of technology within arts organizations, most recently for the League of American Orchestras, the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, and the National Arts Marketing Project. Prior to joining InstantEncore, David established an arts and technology consultancy, taught graduate courses in arts management at Carnegie Mellon University, directed CMU’s Center for Arts Management and Technology, and served as the Director of Contemporary Arts & New Initiatives at South Arts. He has served as a board member for the National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture, Essential Theatre, and the Southern Literature Council. David is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a MA in Performance Studies and a double BA in Psychology and Speech Communications.
