New Colleague Program

PAE Mentorship Program

South Arts and NAPAMA (North American Performing Arts Managers and Agents) have teamed up to offer the PAE Mentorship Program.  Our shared goal is to foster the very first relationship for a new colleague, the relationship that will help them learn to navigate their first conference experience, and to continue on after the conference.  We know that attending PAE is a significant investment of time and money, and we want to make sure New Colleagues receive the most they can from their participation.  We also recognize that the collected expertise of presenters, managers/agents and supporters who attend PAE is rich and valuable and should be tapped for our combined benefits.

If you are a New Colleague:

-   You'll be matched with a Mentor who is also attending.
-   Connect with your Mentor well ahead of PAE to help plan your conference participation.
-   Read this resource from NAPAMA: "NAPAMA Guide: Excerpt for New Colleagues"
-   Plan to attend the New Colleague Orientation on the first day of the PAE.

If you can serve as a Mentor:

-   You'll be matched with one or more New Colleagues.
-   Connect with your New Colleague(s) well ahead of time to help plan their conference participation.
-   Read this resource from NAPAMA: "NAPAMA Guide: Excerpt for Mentors"
-   Plan to attend the New Colleague Orientation on the first day of the PAE.
